Experience the South African Urban Taste of the authentic Kasi Flavour

Mathandekishin Catering is an experience of Urban South African Cuisine. The name refers to the ‘kitchen suit’ that was worn by domestic male servants who worked in the kitchens during apartheid. Nowadays, the uniform has not only become a fashion item but an icon of the Urban South African and Kasi Culture

After more than 10 years of working for one of the major banks in South Africa, Phindile Luthuli decided to follow her passion and godsend talent of providing catering services. Born and bred in Dlamini, Soweto, she has a natural talent of preparing the tastiest urban cuisine using a fusion of traditional and cosmopolitan recipes and menus to create a significant kasi flavour.
